Branding for a student-run social media at UNC Chapel Hill that highlights Asian-owned food businesses in NC. They were looking for a new logo and a more unified social media branding before the organization launched their book in May 2023. Created in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Fresco

Their original logo emulated a childlike illustration to evoke a nostalgic feeling, however, readability and a potential lack of professionalism was their main concern

The main inspiration came from bento boxes, which organizes categories of food into separate sections. I played around more complex logos to stay true to the illustration that the organization had provided, but maintained a more organized and readable design. The organization did request a design that emulated a noodle dish, shown in the last logo.
